Along with gratitude for everything God has blessed me with, I am further challenging myself to perform random acts of kindness to others so that their day might be made a little smoother....a little happier, too. You would be surprised at how a random act of kindness can lift your spirits. 💗💗💗

So much inspirational shares and help here! I pray for your husband, & family, and all that are such Warriors fighting or family fighting diseases. I have Chronic Lyme’s Disease, M.S., R.A. , and Melanoma. It’s tough to keep the home together, I do my best! I’ve had two kids battle blood cancer, my son, now 29, had Adult Leukemia when he was 11, my oldest daughter, now 38, matched perfectly & donated her Bone Marrow, both healthy, I’m so grateful. My other daughter ended up with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, 4 years ago, she’s doing well, & she gave birth to my granddaughter, now two, both healthy, so grateful! Right after we celebrated her remission, I ended up in the hospital for a month , somehow infected with Empyema, it’s was so horrible! Very painful with tubes draining my lung of this infection, I pushed through it , with such family support, and doctors, nurses. I long ago learned that the most precious moments, good humans, and believing in Our Higher Power, gives an incredible meaning of gratitude, and so thankful I have my adult children, & 4 grandchildren, puts so much light into mine, theirs, their beautiful families, so much strength of endless love. I’m so grateful for each day, good human souls, and those that want a better world, and cures if diseases. It’s so important to keep going, find the things you love doing, crafting, painting, and music, are such great Theropy!! Always keep fighting whatever is pulling you down, attitude has a HUGE part of healing. Be a Warrior, not a victim!! That’s when I’ve wittiness day the worst of struggles. Surround yourself with beauty. We only receive this one human vessel and a soul. Make it beautiful!!
You’re so inspiring, thank you! Love you and all to the moon and back!! 💖🌏💫🕊💖

Here’s a very simple recipe and it’s delicious! Get some skinless boneless chicken breasts cut it up in small cubes. Season it with season all or your favorite spice. Then warm up some tortillas. You can add cheese, lettuce tomato sour cream. After the chicken is grilled which takes about fifteen minutes. Make your chicken burritos. They can be pretty filling so a light side like rice or potato chips works well. The chopping takes the longest but you could always do that ahead of time. 🙂

This might sound kind of corny but my way of finding joy and gratitude when I am feeling sorry for myself or like life isn't being fair to me is this : My mother had me when she was just 18 and made a lot of mistakes, i'm not going to sugar coat it- but the one thing she ALWAYS did was to make sure that all holidays and events i.e. birthdays- all holidays (every single one) no matter which one- was always special, and I could always look forward to the whimsy of say; searching for my Easter basket, or finding my Valentines present with stickers or funny wax lips. Christmas morning waking up to an avalanche of gifts, even though we didn't have a lot of money. When I look back at all the things she did to ensure that my childhood was magical and fun.. considering how she had no idea what she was doing at 18- It fills me with so much gratitude and warmth.. Seeing her in my memories being the most imperfect-perfect mother in the world, helps me stop whining and count my blessings. <3

Love you! Those are fantastic tips. And the Kiss press ons?! Love love LOVE them, I have really flat nails and they are the only press ons I've found to fit! We practice daily gratitude as a family by going around the dinner table and telling everyone 3 things we are grateful for that day. It really helps us reconnect at the end of our busy days and helps fill our cups. I also keep a revolving gratitude calendar by my bedside. I try and make entries in it every day, and because its listed by date, not day of the week, I can see what I was grateful for that same day years before. I get to see little glimpses of joy and growth! <3

One Pot Fake Chicken Fried Rice
                                      Yields: 4 servings

1 box of Rice-a-roni or equivalent plus the ingredients called for on the package
Store bought rotisserie chicken, boned & cut into bite size pieces
Frozen peas & carrots or other frozen vegetables

                                      1. Prepare the Rice-a-roni up until the water is added and is starting to simmer.
                                      2. Add a little extra water and the Frozen peas & carrots or other frozen vegetables, and cover.
                                      3. Halfway through Rice-a-roni cooking, add the chicken to the pot and stir.
                                      4. Continue cooking until the rice is tender and vegetables are cooked.
                                      4. Enjoy!

Since I have no extra money to spend on gifts, especially birthdays, I bake from scratch - no box mix or canned frosting. They taste so much better and I tell the person that it's got an ingredient no store or bakery can put in their cakes, brownies and pies, which is LOVE.

BTW, I wish I had your kitchen. It's so large with plenty of cabinets and counter space.

Often social media can feel unrealistic and far from possible with its shiny presentation. But you try to show truth and give support. I appreciate it so much.

Sometimes I find myself so stressed over laundry and my house not being as spotless as I'd like....BUT I've found myself stopping and thanking God I have a washer and dryer, a home that needs cleaned etc. I grew up in a very abusive lifestyle.... many , many times my sisters and mother were homeless... and I mean HOMELESS! We slept on the ground, bathed in a lake or gas station sink etc.... it was a terrifying life as a child....our mother married 8 times and that doesn't count the men in u can imagine the life we had....we were constantly running from the cops (her choice of men) and it was just bad. Soooo..... I say ALL of this (forgive my TMI) but this is why I'm so grateful and tey to find beauty even in the most mundane chores. Anyway....sorry about all the info but you truly do make my heart feel at peace.
I DO have an amazing cleaning hack if anyone was brave enough to read to this! An old pillowcase over fan blades will remove all the dust and then u can clean with a product....but keeps all that dirt from flying everywhere! When done take outside turn it inside out, shake dirt off and toss in washer. :)

I’m in the process of getting a divorce. I was so miserable in my marriage that I just cleaned what I had to and cooked what I had to. I make pizzas for a living and stay clean and organized at work. My husband didn’t do anything to help. My son helped but he worked a stressful job. Anyway, since my husband is gone I actually clean and cook more. My son does more around the house also. Even though he changed jobs and works 12 hours a day. We are much happier and feel better about our lives and home.

Just started watching your videos. And I felt like handing out a cleaning tip for anyone who has a glass shower door. I hate cleaning my shower (floor to just about ceiling glass door) I have terrible knees and hips. So cleaning it, is a chore! Once I have completely cleaned it, I use Rain-X for the finishing touch to help repel water and soap scum. So I don't have to clean it as often. Hope that helps someone!!!

When you have a set back I think it’s so easy to take the small wins and small things for granted. But every time my toddler learns something new or every time something happens at home that makes me laugh so hard, or makes me cry little tears of joy, I am do thankful for everything that brought me to that exact moment. I say my thank you to God, but I should relish in that gratitude all day every day. Our life is so joyous when we consider all the little things.
