25 year experience with arowana. 3 arowana in tank like that? I would hate to put 2 in there already but 2 should be okay. But 3 is really pushing it. I rather have my fish healthy then how cool the tank looks tbh, give them as much space, make them feel like they are the dominant ones ect

Maybe they would feel more comfortable in a Blackwater tank, since that's where Asian arowana are found? It would also be awesome to see an arowana in a tank that somewhat resembles their natural habitat.

yes I saw the smaller fish on the bottom in the grass area too. That does look like a fish hanging out over it's fry. OR getting into breeding mode by finding/claiming a nesting area.

think you should separate the rays and the arowana so that the rays can breed

That sort of erratic/lethargic behavior sounds like stress to me. I'd do some troubleshooting and see if you can pinpoint what's causing it. Look for signs of internal parasites, external parasites, bloating/constipation, bacterial infection, swim bladder disorder, etc. First I usually try salt dips every other day. To do this, take a small container of aquarium water and dissolve some aquarium salt in it (the amount isn't too important, I usually do a couple of tablespoons or so in 4 gallons). Make sure the granules are fully dissolved and put your fish in for about 10-20 minutes every other day. This can help with external parasites or bacterial infections. I'd also take them off feed for around three days, and then feed them deshelled peas. This will help if they are constipated or bloated. For the future, I would recommend moving them to a little bit bigger of a tank (a 20 long would work well) and getting 4+ more corydoras so they can school. This shouldn't be causing whatever issue you're having, but it is something I'd look into improving. I'd ramp up the water changes to keep that water pristine while the fish are recovering. Can you give some information about your tank and your fish? This may help me figure out what's wrong? What's your water change schedule, filtration, tank temperature, is the tank densely planted/covered, etc.? And also, have you noticed anything abnormal about the fish's skin, is the poop stringy and white, do the fish look bloated, etc. Anything you can think of can help.
